My Greene King IPA

The real taste of your local is local

The real taste of your local

The history of brewing real beer in the Suffolk town Bury St. Edmunds can be traced as far back as 1086. For over 200 years Greene King has been producing fine beers, becoming an integral part of both the social and economic life of East Anglia.

Caring for our environment

We aim to have as little impact on our environment as possible. Measures such as reducing our delivery lorries speed and light-weighting our glass bottles have all attributed to our success, which has been recognised by the Carbon Trust, who recently awarded us with the 'Carbon Trust Standard' in recognition of our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint year after year, the first Brewery to have achieved this standard.

In the community

Greene King continues to play an important role in the local community, from sponsorship of many local sports teams to supporting selected local and national charities.
